John’s analytical thinking and his competitive nature drive him to pursue investment strategies that will help clients achieve their goals. 

John joined Brightworth in 2018 as a Senior Investment Analyst. His primary responsibilities include investment research and manager due diligence.

Prior to his current role, John spent five years working at a regional bank, most recently in an investment research role in which he contributed to the Wealth Management group’s manager selection and asset allocation decisions.

John graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham with a degree in Marketing, while also competing on the golf team. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder and is dedicated to promoting the highest ethical standards in the industry.

Originally from Alabama, John resides in Brookhaven with his wife Becca and his daughter Rachel. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, rock climbing, skiing, and reading.
