Chase joined the Brightworth team in 2015 as a financial planner. He previously worked at two independent financial planning firms, developing comprehensive financial plans for high net worth individuals and families. He is passionate about helping families maximize the impact of their wealth, particularly through charitable giving.
Chase is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with the Yale School of Management. He received his BBA in Finance and BSFCS in Family Financial Planning from the University of Georgia.
Chase is a member of the Financial Planning Association and previously served on the Pro Bono Committee of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter. He is also a member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council. Chase has volunteered as a financial coach with Consumer Credit Counseling Services and enjoys helping families improve their financial well-being.
Chase is currently a member of the Metro Atlanta chapter of the UGA Alumni Association and is a former president of the Savannah chapter. He was a member of the Leadership Savannah Class of 2011 and an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. He was also a co-chair of a local chapter of UGA HEROs, raising funds for children affected by HIV/AIDS.
He has been featured in Money Magazine’s “Money Makeover" and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He was a regular contributor to the Dallas Morning News “Expert Financial Advice” blog and participated in their “Ask a CFP” hotline.
Chase and his wife, Kate, live in Atlanta with their son, Knox, and their daughter, Audrey, and are actively involved in their church, Christ Church Presbyterian. He likes to spend his spare time with his family and also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
