Chase joined the Brightworth team in 2015 as a financial planner, having previously worked at two independent financial planning firms. He is passionate about helping clients simplify their financial lives and maximize the impact of their wealth, particularly through charitable giving.
Chase has helped clients with complex financial planning needs, including coordinating executive stock awards, funding charitable goals around big income events such as selling a business, and maximizing peak earning years in anticipation of a career transition. He has been featured in Money Magazine’s “Money Makeover” and has been published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Dallas Morning News, and Kiplinger.
Chase received his BBA in Finance and BSFCS in Family Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with the Yale School of Management. He is also a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA)-Registered Financial Advisor.
He is a member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council and the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Legacy Advisors. Chase has volunteered as a financial coach with Consumer Credit Counseling Services and participated in the Dallas Morning News’ “Ask a CFP” hotline. He is a former president of the UGA Alumni Association’s Savannah chapter, was a member of the Leadership Savannah Class of 2011 and ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, and served as co-chair of a local chapter of UGA HEROs.
Chase and his wife, Kate, live in Atlanta with their children, Knox and Audrey, and are active members of Christ Church Presbyterian. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, kayaking, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
