Annika's experience and passion for working with business owners and professional service providers make her uniquely positioned to help her clients reach their financial and lifetime goals.


Annika is a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Brightworth where she provides comprehensive wealth advice including cash flow planning, retirement income strategies, income tax, investments, estate planning, and charitable giving strategies to high-net-worth families. She specializes in working with business owners and helps them think strategically about their business and personal wealth planning throughout the various phases of their business’ lifecycle. As a Certified Exit Planner, she plays a key role on the Business Exit and Transitions Services team in helping to clearly define the financial goals which drive so many of the key decisions as an owner begins to contemplate an exit. She is an instructor in Brightworth’s Business Owner Transitions Academy and has special expertise in working with professional services firms.

She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and has completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® program through the Investments & Wealth Institute™ at the Wharton School of Business. Annika earned her Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in personal financial planning from Georgia State University and graduated with honors from the University of Colorado with bachelor’s degrees in business administration-information technology and biology.

Annika is a member of the fee-only National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and the Fernbank Corporate Leadership Council.  She has also spoken at the Financial Planning Association of Georgia’s Regional Conference, ICLE’s Basic Fiduciary Practice, and the Women’s Forum of Georgia, and is published in the Journal of Retirement PlanningWall Street Journal’s, and Annika has presented retirement seminars at several large law firms in Atlanta and has been quoted in U.S. News & World ReportInvestmentNewsFinancial PlanningFinancial Advisor, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, and

Annika and her husband live in Decatur with their three sons and enjoy tennis, golf, travel, and scuba diving.
