Sherry's extensive experience across the firm, along with her strong attention to detail and desire to help people make her uniquely suited to run the firm's compliance and integration functions.

Sherry serves as Brightworth’s Chief Compliance and Integration Officer.  Her responsibilities include maintaining a strong U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance program for the firm. Sherry has developed and administered the compliance policies and procedures for Brightworth including monitoring the business practices of the firm and preparing SEC filings. This role also includes providing merger and acquisition due diligence leadership. In her role as Integration Officer, Sherry works with our acquired firms and practices, including the recently acquired McGill Advisor Division, in order to ensure commitment and consistency to the firm's culture, policies, procedures and best practices. She previously served in the roles of Director of Operations and Manager of Financial Planning at Brightworth and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. She has 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having joined Brightworth in 1995 as one of the firm's original employees.

Sherry graduated with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelors degree in management and received her masters in business administration from Georgia State University. Sherry and her husband, Andrew, live in Dunwoody and are members of Temple Emanu-El.  She enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her three children.
