Robert C. Covington

Bob's business connections and extensive involvement in the Atlanta community helps broaden Brightworth's reach to potential clients in need of our services and expertise.

Bob joined Brightworth as Director of Business Development in 2011. In addition to cultivating relationships, Bob develops strategies with our Wealth Advisors designed to expand the firm’s reach to prospective clients. Prior to Brightworth, Bob ran a private reinsurance firm, Covington and Company, for nearly 20 years.

Bob has an extensive history volunteering with and serving on the board of not-for-profit organizations, including Darlington School, Young Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Kindred Spirit. A Georgia native, Bob graduated from The University of Georgia.

Bob and his wife, Carol, have two children, four grandchildren and are active members of The Church of the Apostles. An avid golfer, Bob has been involved with the American Junior Golf Association and East Lake Junior Golf Academy and is the General Chairman for the 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Golf Championship.
