Wealth Manager Magazine Ranks Brightworth Among Top Financial Managers

ATLANTA - Wealth Manager magazine has listed Atlanta private wealth counsel firm Brightworth as one of the country's Top Wealth Managers for 2009. Ranked according to the average assets under management (AUM) per client, Brightworth is in the top third of more than 400 firms listed nationwide.

"The Brightworth team has done an exceptional job of shepherding our clients through a very tumultuous time," said Alan Gotthardt, president of Brightworth. "Maintaining a solid performance in the annual Wealth Manager ranking is gratifying for all of us, as it reinforces the positive things that we have accomplished in the past year."

This is the eighth consecutive year that Brightworth has been included in the nine-year-old Wealth Manager listing of top investment advisors. Brightworth is one of the largest independent, fee-only private wealth counsel firms in Atlanta in terms of assets under management and employees.

In order to participate in the Wealth Manager survey, firms must be registered investment advisors with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and retain a minimum level of assets under management (AUM).

Brightworth is an independent, fee-only wealth management firm that serves entrepreneurs and high net worth families and individuals. The firm and its partners have been nationally ranked as one of Robb Report Worth magazine's 100 Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors, Mutual Funds magazine's 100 Top Advisors, Wealth Manager magazine's Top 150 Wealth Managers and Barron's Indie 100 list of top independent financial advisors, and are members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
