ATLANTA (September 18, 2007) - Once again, Atlanta private wealth counsel firm Brightworth has found itself on a list of one of the country's leading firms serving high-net-worth families and individuals, Barron's Indie 100. The Winner's Circle survey, conducted by R.J. Shook, ranked Brightworth CEO Chris Dardaman among the top 100 independent advisors nationwide. The extensive survey rated advisors for quality of service, assets under management and profits generated, as well as other criteria that remains confidential. Last month, Wealth Manager magazine ranked Brightworth in the top 21 percent in a survey of 450 wealth advisors nationwide.
"This is an exciting time for Brightworth and our clients," said Alan Gotthardt, President of Brightworth. "We believe our team is doing an excellent job of bringing value to our clients, and it is a great feeling for us that Barron's, Wealth Manager and other industry experts recognize our success. We all admire Chris for his dedication to his clients, commitment to their interests and acute ability to create value for his clients - all principles we embody throughout Brightworth."
This is the first time Barron's has surveyed and ranked the Top 100 independent advisors in the U.S. According to Barron's, the increased stature and prominence of independent advisors prompted the highly-regarded financial magazine to survey and rank the best individuals in the rapidly-growing industry.
Brightworth is one of the largest independent, fee-only private wealth counsel firms in Atlanta in terms of assets under management and employees. In January 2006, the firm surpassed one-half billion dollars under management, and now has more than $700 million under management.
